The first post

Nothing like a brand new site. Nothing on it. This is the first post.

If you read this, here is what happened …

I have worked with local family businesses for a long time. Our work was not suited for the corporate world.

When I started I failed and closed that business. Basically we lost everything. Part of a statistic. It was fucking hard as everything depended on the business working.

And when you fail, it hurts.

There are still deep scars from that experience.

Many friends and family never knew what we went through.

And now? We got out of it. Had a lot of help.

Worked long hours. Tried a lot of stuff. Learned a lot.

I know what it means to be in business and sales are just not happening. You spend money on ads. You get sales people. You change your website. Post on social.

And nothing. Nada. No sales!

The more you do things, the better you become.

After a lot of work, one day, something just worked.

And we did more of that. And it worked.

That is how Unblock Sales came about. I had stuff blocking sales. Whether it was my mind set, my attitude, ads, sales skills, follow up, something blocked sales.

When you are that close to the business, you don’t see a clear path.

You can’t find your way out. Until the sunlight shines through, and your sales flow.

Reasons why you should NOT be here:

#1) I can’t help you get rich quick. There is a lot of work involved.

#2) Marketing and sales is best done together, it is a team sport. We can’t work alone and need your input. No input, no good results.

#3) Free traffic is one way, we focus on PAID ads. Not advertising, then we will not be ideal fit. Our work is NOT to convivence you to advertise.

#4) Your market is your market. Some markets are very competitive. We do not work in these extremely competitive markets for one simple reason, most businesses do not have the budget to compete (think millions on ad spend per month).

#5) It is not easy, if you think it is going to be, it will not be. Having a successful business takes effort. There are failures. There are wins. There are losses. It is part of the business game.

#6) Gut feeling has a place. What does the data say? Saying you think something is not working is not good enough. Look and show the data.

#7) It is your job to know your numbers, your key performance indicators.

#8) Paid ads is just ONE ingredient. To bake a cake, you need lots of ingredients and the right process otherwise the cake flops. Business is the same.

Welcome to this journey. Thank you for joining me on this adventure.
